in New York City and has performed lead roles such as Guinevere in "Camelot," Ado Annie in "Oklahoma," Eve in "The Apple Tree," Gilmer in "Godspell," and many others. In 1983, she decided to concentrate on singing and composing and began performing with her own band in nightclubs throughout Manhattan.

She moved to Nashville in 1990, and her song, "Pick a Lane," was recorded by Janie Fricke, which was released on Janie’s Bouncin’ Back CD. She is also a member of the fabulous, female vocal group Queen of Hearts, who appear regularly at The Bluebird Café in Nashville, as well as other venues including The Swallow at The Hollow in Atlanta, GA., The Roger Smith Hotel in New York City, and others. Helen resides in Nashville with her husband Rick and her son Travis and their two dogs, Cody and Penny.
